- Student will understand how Botox and other neuro-muscular modifiers will affects patient outcome
 
Anatomy of Facial Muscles
- Student will understand how muscle movement affects wrinkling
 - Student will understand how weakening certain muscles affects aesthetic look of a patient
 
Injection Techniques
- Student will understand basic injection techniques
 - Student will understand dosing
 - Student will learn Best Practice policies regarding Botox
 - Student will understand Aftercare
 
Aesthetic Value
- Student will understand differing styles and fads of beauty
 - Student will understand how to achieve the “look” the patient desires
 - Student will understand realistic vs. Unrealistic expectations
 
Complications and Side effects
- Student will understand potential side effects and complications
 - Student will understand how to reduce complications
 - Student will understand how to treat complications
 
Consultation Techniques
- Student will learn how to handle a Botox consultation
 - Student will understand best charting practices
 - Student will take part in role play consultations
 
Business Practices
- Student will understand how to incorporate Botox cosmetic into their practice Non Human Practice
 
Non Human Practices
- Student will practice on “dummy” before injecting patients

- Student will understand the anatomy of face including muscular and nerves
 - Student will understand how the aging process affects the aesthetic of a face

- Student will understand the science of aesthetic beauty
 - Student will understand differing styles and fads of beauty
 - Student will understand how to achieve the “look” the patient desires
 - Student will understand realistic vs. Unrealistic expectations
 
Injection Techniques
