Anatomy of Facial Muscles

  • Student will understand how muscle movement affects wrinkling
  • Student will understand how weakening certain muscles affects aesthetic look of a patient

Injection Techniques

  • Student will understand basic injection techniques
  • Student will understand dosing
  • Student will learn Best Practice policies regarding Botox
  • Student will understand Aftercare

Aesthetic Value

  • Student will understand differing styles and fads of beauty
  • Student will understand how to achieve the “look” the patient desires
  • Student will understand realistic vs. Unrealistic expectations

Complications and Side effects

  • Student will understand potential side effects and complications

  • Student will understand how the aging process affects the aesthetic of a face
